Volunteer Student Counsellor

Our Patient and Family Services Team (PFST) provides specialist psychological, spiritual and social care to patients and their loved ones.

Our counsellors also offer comprehensive pre-bereavement and bereavement psychological support for adults with complex presentations and for children. Counselling is preceded by a psychological assessment after which the patient or client is offered an eclectic mix of psychotherapeutic approaches and interventions within a short-term framework.

Interviews will be held throughout August.

If successful, you’ll be required to attend in-house Induction Training on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 October.

Start date will be Monday 27 October.
